The Deaf-initely Can 5K and Fun Run is a run/walk event that benefits students attending the Wichita Falls
Regional Day School Program for the Deaf. Your participation supports:
* Fund field trips for preschoolers-seniors to build vocabulary from real-life experiences,
* Support teens in competitions with other students across the state,
* Supply extra learning materials for students and families throughout the year,
* Sponsor workshops for parents and educators to improve communication strategies and support,
* Fund transportation for students to attend cultural events and community activities,
* Provide technology like hearing aids and assistive devices to help students thrive in the classroom,
* Organize social events to help Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students build friendships and peer support.
Wichita Falls Regional Day School Program for the Deaf serves over 100 Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students
across Region 9, including Wichita Falls ISD, Burkburnett ISD, and neighboring SSAs. Your support helps us
provide language-rich experiences from infancy through high school.
