Celebrate community, tradition, and movement at the inaugural D'IA DE LOS MUERTOS 5K, proudly presented by Flowar and held in partnership with the 41st Annual KLAQ Halloween Parade. This brandnew race brings festive energy to a beloved El Paso tradition, kicking off the afternoon celebrations at Album Park on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2026.
This 5K is for everyone runners, walkers, families, firsttimers, seasoned athletes, and anyone who wants to start their Halloween afternoon with joy and color. Costumes are encouraged, whether you choose classic D'ia de los Muertos calavera style or your favorite Halloween character. Bring your creativity and your community spirit.
All finishers will receive a special D'ia de los Muertos medal, awarded to the first 500 participants. After you cross the Finish Line, stick around to enjoy the parade. Awards for the overall top male and female finishers, along with agegroup awards, will be presented during the parades award ceremony.
