The highlight of the event is the fast and competitive 5K race taking place on the morning of Saturday, July 18th, at Canal Winchester High School. For younger athletes, there will also be separate Girls and Boys 1 Mile Fun Runs, perfect for those ages 12 and under. Whether you choose to run alongside friends and family or opt for the virtual 5K option, you’ll be contributing to a great cause, as all proceeds will support the boys and girls cross country teams at Canal Winchester High School. Organiser's Description
Sign up for the 19th annual Dr. Bender 5K Classic! This year's race again has in-person and virtual options for participation. Those who wish to participate in person can do so on the morning of Saturday, July 18th, at Canal Winchester High School. Race morning will consist of our traditionally fast and competitive 5K race, as well as separate Girls and Boys 1 Mile Fun Runs (suggested for ages 12 & under). A virtual 5K event will also be available for those who are not able or choose not to participate in the in-person race. As always, proceeds from registration and sponsorships from this year's event will directly benefit the boys and girls cross country teams at Canal Winchester High School.
