Get ready for a fantastic weekend of fun and fitness at the DRC Rock Springs Ramble, taking place from June 6th to June 8th, 2026, in beautiful Decatur, Macon! This exciting event kicks off with a timed 5K race at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 6th, where runners of all levels can enjoy a scenic paved out-and-back course. For the little ones, the Kid's Ramble at 7:30 a.m. offers ages ten and under a chance to join in the fun. Every participant in both races will take home a finisher medal and a unique hand-painted rock, making this event a memorable experience for all.
With water stations along the course and age group awards for the 5K, including categories from ten and under to 75 and over, there's plenty of motivation to lace up those running shoes. Plus, the post-race party promises a lively atmosphere as awards are presented to celebrate everyone’s achievements. Organiser's Description
The Decatur Running Club is sponsoring a timed 5k beginning at 8 a.m. on June 6th and a Kid's Ramble at 7:30 a.m. ages ten and under.
The start/finish will take place at the east parking lot on the trail. The paved course is an out and back. Water station will be available along the course.
Proceeds are used to fund club events as well as supporting youth running programs in the Decatur area.
This race will be hand timed, (NO BIB) by the Decatur Running Club.
All participants receive a finisher medal and hand painted rock. Age group awards for the 5K are ten and under, then 5 year increments up to 75 and over.
All participants in the Kid's Ramble will receive a finisher's award.
Post race party and award presentation follow race completion.
