Organiser's Description
Join us at the Smoke on the Plains BBQ Festival for our Inaugural 5K race! The race will be on Saturday, June 10 at 7:30am. The course is a USATF certified course. It will start and finish in High Park, and will run through the city streets of Derby, Ks. There will be awards for the overall female and overall male, and age group awards. The Smokin’ 5K is an event you won’t want to miss! So lace up your sneakers, grab your friends, and get ready to smoke the competition!
Following the finish of the Smokin’ 5K, we will have a non-timed Kids Fun Run! The kids course is just under a half mile around the soccer fields. Every finisher will receive a medal.
