Drop13 Big Cottonwood Canyon

Get ready for an exhilarating experience at the Drop13 Big Cottonwood Canyon Half Marathon on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in the picturesque Holladay, Salt Lake! Known as one of the fastest half marathons in Utah, this stunning race begins at the scenic Solitude Ski Resort and descends over an impressive 3,000 feet, covering a total distance of 13.1 miles to Cottonwood Heights City.

Participants will be treated to breathtaking views of the spring runoff cascading through the roaring river, surrounded by lush greenery that highlights the beauty of nature. Not only will runners enjoy the thrill of the race, but they'll also be rewarded with fantastic 4" finisher medals! Those who achieve a personal record will receive a special PR medal, while dedicated participants who lose 13 pounds during their training will be honored with a Drop13lbs medal, based on the honor system.
