This vibrant event will take place at the picturesque Duck Creek Quarry Park in Howard, Wisconsin, starting at 8 a.m. Athletes of all levels, ages 13 and up, will have the chance to compete in a thrilling sprint triathlon featuring a 750m swim in the beautiful Duck Creek Quarry, a scenic 13.4-mile bike ride through the charming landscapes of Howard, and an invigorating 5k run on the Mountain Bay Trail.
The 2025 edition promises exciting enhancements, including a new bike route, a larger and improved transition area, and a festive finish line that leads directly into the post-race party! With registration capped at just 400 participants, this is an event you won’t want to miss. The Duck Creek Triathlon, hosted by the Village of Howard, will return in 2025 with a new bike route, a bigger and smoother transition area, and a finish line that ends where the post-race party starts! This fully supported sprint triathlon features a 750m swim [https://villageofhoward.com/DocumentCenter/View/10144/2025-Swim-Route] in the popular Duck Creek Quarry, a 13.4-mile bike ride [https://villageofhoward.com/DocumentCenter/View/10142/2025-Bike-Route] through scenic Howard, and an out-and-back 5k run [https://villageofhoward.com/DocumentCenter/View/10143/2025-Run-Route] on the Mountain Bay Trail. The event is co-hosted by charity partner Greater Green Bay YMCA and is open to athletes of all levels ages 13+. Registration will be capped at 400 total participants!

This fully supported, chip-timed sprint triathlon features a 750m swim in the popular Duck Creek Quarry, a 13.4-mile bike through scenic Howard, and an out-and-back 5k run on the Mountain Bay Trail. Registration fees include race entry, a moisture-wicking race T-shirt, a finisher's medal, sponsor coupons and other swag, and post-race snacks and refreshments. Each registrant also will receive a complimentary Duck Creek Quarry Beach admission wristband good for the 2025 season.
