Organiser's Description
The Duck Creek Triathlon, hosted by the Village of Howard, will return in 2026 with a slightly revised bike route, a smoother transition area, and a finish line that ends where the post-race party starts! This fully supported sprint triathlon features a 750m swim [https://villageofhoward.com/DocumentCenter/View/10144/2025-Swim-Route] in the popular Duck Creek Quarry, a 15.5-mile bike ride [https://villageofhoward.com/Admin/DocumentCenter/Document/View/10142/2026-Bike-Route-Revised] through scenic Howard, and an out-and-back 5k run [https://villageofhoward.com/DocumentCenter/View/10143/2025-Run-Route] on the Mountain Bay Trail. The event is co-hosted by charity partner Greater Green Bay YMCA and is open to athletes of all levels ages 13+. Registration will be capped at 400 total participants!

This fully supported, chip-timed sprint triathlon features a 750m swim in the popular Duck Creek Quarry, a 15.5-mile bike through scenic Howard, and an out-and-back 5k run on the Mountain Bay Trail. Registration fees include race entry, a moisture-wicking race T-shirt, a finisher's medal, sponsor coupons and other swag, and post-race snacks and refreshments. Each registrant also will receive a complimentary Duck Creek Quarry Beach admission wristband good for the 2026 season. (Registered participants can pick up wristbands in person at Howard Village Hall, located at 2456 Glendale Ave., during regular business hours beginning May 18, 2026.)
