The International Dyslexia Association GA aims to improve the lives of students with dyslexia and other language-learning differences by offering teacher training, parent support, and student empowerment. The Dyslexia Dash supports IDA-GA's outreach initiatives and teacher training scholarships.

1-Mile 7:45 am, followed by 5K 8:15 am
The Start/Finish is located on Perimeter Center Parkway NE on the back side of Perimeter Mall in Atlanta, Georgia. The Festival will be set up near the Start/Finish in Nordstrom's back parking lot, next to Von Maur.

Plan to park in Von Maur's lot. Look for parking poles with numbers 71 and 72. You may also park _outside the festival area_ in front of Nordstrom.

To avoid lines, pick up your race bib on Friday, October 16, at Road Runner Sports in East Marietta. (Time TBA)

You may also pick up your bib on the morning of the event, beginning at 6:45 am.

T-SHIRT PICKUP REQUIREMENT

For those attending the in-person race, you must be present to pick up your t-shirt or have someone pick it up for you.

VIRTUAL 5K OPTION:

Participate anytime, anywhere! Upload your best time from October 1 through October 17 (by 11:59 pm EST).

For those choosing the virtual race, participants will run their own course and can post their times. As soon as you register, you can run the race.

The Dyslexia Dash website will be open to receiving time submissions from October 1 through 11:59 p.m. ET on October 17, 2026.

Participants will have the option to post their times via the Dyslexia Dash website, using text or email.

Race t-shirts and race bags for Virtual Race Participants will be mailed the week of October 19.
