The DYSLEXIA DASH 2026 can be run as AN IN-PERSON RACE OR AS A VIRTUAL RACE. You choose whichever one works for you.
The IN-PERSON RACES will be held on OCTOBER 17, 2026, AT PERIMETER MALL, 4400 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, GA, 30346. The race will begin in the parking lot near the Von Maur store. The Dyslexia Dash will include both a 5km run and 1-mile kids' run for those with big hearts but little legs (children ten years of age and under). THE 1 MILE KIDS' RUN BEGINS AT 7:45 AM. THE 5KM RUN BEGINS AT 8:15 AM. All participants will receive a t-shirt at the end of the race. There will also be a kids' play area, a DJ, a teacher appreciation raffle, a Dyslexia Talent & Creativity Showcase area, an awards ceremony, and sponsor tents to visit.
_FOR THOSE ATTENDING THE IN-PERSON RACE, YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO PICK UP YOUR T-SHIRT OR HAVE SOMEONE PICK IT UP FOR YOU._
For those choosing the VIRTUAL RACE, participants will run their own course and can post their times. As soon as you register, you can run the race. The Dyslexia Dash website will be open to receiving postings of times on October 1 AND WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL 11:59 PM ET ON OCTOBER 17, 2025. Participants will have the option to post their times via the Dyslexia Dash website, using text message or sending an email. RACE T-SHIRTS and race bags for VIRTUAL RACE PARTICIPANTS WILL BE MAILED THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 19.

OPENS 31 MARThis is an in-person race which will begin at the Perimeter Mall at 8:15 am on Saturday, October 17. Please arrive ahead of time to receive your racing bib. Same-day registrations are accepted. All times for the race begin at the sound of the starting gun. Upon completion of the race, all participants will receive a race t-shirt. There will also be awards for certain race categories. Race times will be posted on October 17. -

This race is run early so parents who wish to can accompany their children and then run in the 5km race. Same-day registrations are accepted. Upon completion of the race, all participants will receive a race t-shirt. -

Participants can then record their race times on the Dyslexia Dash website starting on October 1 and ending on October 17 if they wish to. All participants of the Virtual Race will be mailed their race T-Shirt the week of October 19.
