Join us for the 10th Annual E. Rivers Shivers 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 26, 2024, in the vibrant city of Atlanta, Fulton! This exciting event kicks off at 8:00 AM from the E. Rivers field, taking participants on a scenic route along Peachtree Battle Ave and through the historic neighborhoods surrounding the school, while finishing back at the E. Rivers track. The USATF certified 5K is not only a fantastic opportunity to support the E. Rivers PTA and its students, but it’s also an official Atlanta Track Club Qualifying Event.
Don't miss out on the fun—there will be awards for top age group finishers and even a prize for the BEST COSTUME! Plus, enjoy great music from a DJ and tasty snacks to keep your energy up. For the little ones, a 100-yard Fun Run will take place at 9:00 AM, completely free for all kids. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun day out, come out, bring your friends and family, and make some lasting memories! Remember, the E. Rivers parking lot will close at 7:40 AM, so plan to arrive early.

YOU CAN STILL REGISTER IN PERSON AT THE SCHOOL ON FRIDAY 4:30-6:30PM OR SATURDAY AT THE 5K START FROM 7-8AM.
COME OUT AND SUPPORT THE 10TH ANNUAL E. RIVERS SHIVERS 5K AND FUN RUN ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2024.
All race proceeds benefit the students through the E. Rivers PTA.
The 5K race will start from the E. Rivers field at 8:00 am. The route will proceed along scenic Peachtree Battle Ave, through the historic neighborhood surrounding our school, and alongside the Northside Beltline--ending back at the E. Rivers track.
The course is USATF certified and an Atlanta Track Club Official Qualifying Event.
Awards will be given for top age group finishers and BEST COSTUME!
There will be a DJ and snacks!!!
5K Registration Fees:
Early Bird Student (19 and under) $20 Select "special pricing" to get student age pricing when registering
Early Bird Adult $30
Regular Student (after Oct. 6) $25
Regular Adult (after Oct. 6) $35
Online registration ends Wednesday, October 23rd, at noon. Race day registration will be available from 7:00-7:50 am at the start line (NOTE: online registration guarantees youll receive a t-shirt in your size).)
A 100 yard Fun Run will take place after the race at 9:00 AM. The Fun Run is free to all kids.
Race packets will be sent home with registered E. Rivers students (including for any other family member). For all others, packets can be picked up at the school parking lot between 4:30 and 6:30 pm on Friday, October 25, or the morning of the race on the 26th.
The E. Rivers parking lot will close at 7:40 am on race day.
Water tables will be located at the start, finish, and at the 1.5 mile mark.
Strollers are welcome. Pets are not permitted on the course or the E. Rivers field.
