Proceeds from the Earth Day 5K will benefit Compa~neros, a vital organization dedicated to supporting immigrants in our community through essential services like resource navigation, legal assistance, and educational outreach.
After the race, stick around for Durango's Earth Day Celebration, featuring a lively parade at 10:30 AM and a festival at Buckley Park from 11 AM to 3 PM. April is a stunning time to be in Durango, so mark your calendars and get ready for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit!

Organiser's Description
Please join the Durango Running Club for the inaugural Earth Day 5K! The race will be on 04/18/26 at 8:30 AM at Rotary Park in Durango. Runners and walkers will go north on the Animas River Trail from Rotary Park, and will run or walk 1.55 miles north to just before 32nd Street. Participants will then turn around and finish at Rotary park. Please note this will be a Zero Waste event. Participants are encouraged to carry their own water.
All proceeds from the race will go to benefit Compa~neros. As the only organization in our region with its primary focus on serving immigrants, Compa~neros offers unique and crucial services to our community. Services offered by Compa~neros include resource navigation, legal services, education outreach, and community engagement.
