Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the Earth Day 5K on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 4:00 PM! This exciting event takes place at the beautiful Shawnee Prairie Preserve in Greenville, Darke, and is perfect for both walkers and runners of all ages. Bring your furry friends along, as dogs are welcome on a leash (no longer than six feet), and don't forget to pack some dog waste bags!
For just $20, participants can register before March 31st and receive a stylish t-shirt made from 50% recycled plastic bottles. After March 31st, registration remains at $20 but will not include a t-shirt. As you cross the finish line, you'll have the chance to earn a medal, with awards for the top two overall finishers in both men’s and women’s categories, as well as the top two in each age group ranging from 9 and under to 80 and over. To top off the day, enjoy delicious campfire s'mores and hot dogs while celebrating the spirit of Earth Day with fellow participants. Join us in making a positive impact on our planet while having a fantastic time!
