FINALLY, A RACE WHERE "PRE-CARBING" IS THE MAIN EVENT! ORGANIZED BY THE ROTARY CLUB OF EAST HAMPTON, THIS "0.5K" (THATS JUST ABOUT 540 YARDS) IS DESIGNED FOR EVERYONE FROM SEASONED SPRINTERS TO THOSE WHO PREFER A MORE... LEISURELY PACE.
THE EVENT KICKS OFF WITH HOT DOGS AT THE START LINE AND ENDS WITH A DONUT AND A BEVERAGE AT THE FINISH LINE, WITH OPTIONAL "WATER BREAKS" FOR THOSE WHO FIND THE 0.31-MILE TREK PARTICULARLY GRUELING. WHETHER YOU'RE RUNNING, WALKING, OR JUST HERE FOR THE SNACKS, ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT LOCAL COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS SUPPORTED BY THE ROTARY CLUB.
