Join us for the EDRRC - The Great Giveback 5K on Sunday, October 29, 2023, in Hopewell Junction, Dutchess! This exciting event kicks off at 8 AM at the Hopewell Depot, located at 35 Railroad Ave, and features a scenic route along the Rail Trail toward Lake Walton and back. Whether you choose to walk or run, you’ll be contributing to a great cause as all proceeds benefit the Fishkill Food Pantry.
Participants are encouraged to bring donations for the pantry, making this not just a race, but a community-driven effort to give back. The first 75 registrants by October 1 will receive a special custom swag item! Plus, there are fantastic prizes for top finishers in each age group, and everyone who finishes the race can enjoy a fun celebration complete with costume prizes and extra raffle tickets. The fun starts at 8AM in East Fishkill on the Rail Trail AT THE HOPEWELL DEPOT: 35 RAILROAD AVE (THIS IS A CHANGE FROM LAST YEAR'S EVENT!) Route will run from the Hopewell Depot Museum towards Lake Walton and back, where there are restrooms, parking, and a pavilion!
THE FIRST 75 PARTICIPANTS REGISTERED BY OCTOBER 1 will receive a CUSTOM SWAG ITEM from Fishkill Food Pantry!
