Participants can choose between two exciting options: a challenging 5K Trail Run that navigates through the stunning and rugged terrain of Doan Creek, including water crossings and steep trails, or a family-friendly 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk that is perfect for participants of all ages. Whether you're a seasoned runner or looking for a fun way to engage the whole family, this event promises adventure and camaraderie. With awards for the top three men and women in various age groups, there’s plenty of motivation to lace up those running shoes! Registration is open now, with pre-registration fees set at just $30 for the 5K and $20 for the Fun Run. Every day men and women at EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute grind it out to get a
second chance after incarceration. Compete in our 10th annual EDWINS Run for Re-Entry, to
show returning citizens that you support their right to fair and equal futures.
CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE
MILE FUN RUN OR WALK* - Tour the neighborhood around EDWINS with this beginner road
course. This mile course plays it safe sticking to neighborhood sidewalks. Stroller and
family-friendly!
TRAIL RUN GRIND*- Can you handle the toughest race in Ohio? This race starts
and ends at the new Edwins location in Cleveland Heights with a course unlike any other. Off-road. Through the water. Uphill.
Through rocky, unbalanced terrain. Participants will experience a small amount of road running,
but most of this course is a trail run that includes water crossings and steep skinny trails through
Doan Creek.
_*Both courses utilize public sidewalks and paths open to the public. There are also driveways_
_and cars, so please be aware of your surroundings. Know the course before you arrive.*_
AWARDS: Awarded to the top 3 men and top 3 women in each age group.
Age Groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over
RACE DAY: Packet Pick-Up begins at 9 AM until your time slot at EDWINS Restaurant.
