Join us for the Empower Wellness Run on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Hart Park, where fitness and fun come together in a vibrant community celebration! This exciting event features two race distances: a challenging 5k and a leisurely 1 mile, making it perfect for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you choose to run, walk, or even crawl, everyone is welcome to join in on the action!

Not only will you enjoy a day filled with health and wellness, but you'll also have the chance to earn medals awarded to the top three finishers in each age group per gender for the 5k race. Plus, take advantage of our special pricing for Kern High School District staff and their immediate families. Don’t forget to register by April 6 to ensure you receive a t-shirt! With live music, local vendors, and delicious post-race snacks and drinks, the Empower Wellness Run promises to be an unforgettable day for you and your family. Remember to pick up your race packet on event day between 7:00 AM and 8:15 AM in Section 2 near the east entrance of Hart Park. We can't wait to see you there!

Organiser's Description

Come out and Run for Wellness on a beautiful Saturday at Hart Park. Run, walk, or crawl, everyone is welcome. Choose between 5k or the 1 mile. This event is open to the public but has special pricing for Kern High School District Staff and immediate family. (PLEASE SIGN UP BY 4/6 TO BE GUARANTEED A T-SHIRT!) Medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each age group per gender for the 5k. We look forward to seeing you and your family for this fun event! Enjoy music and vendors, as well as post-race drinks and snacks. Packet pick-up will not be available prior to the event. Please plan to pick up your packet on race day from 7:00am - 8:15am in Section 2 of Hart Park, near the east entrance. We look forward to seeing you!
