Join us for the 5th Annual End Alzheimer’s 5K on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Arrowhead Park in Cheraw, Chesterfield! This exciting event is part of the Longest Day Walk fundraiser, organized by the Purple Crusaders, a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care and research. The 5K race kicks off at 9:30 AM, with packet pickup available from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
Participants can register for the race, while walking is free for all! Donations are encouraged to support vital local initiatives aimed at ending Alzheimer’s disease. Runners of all ages are welcome, with awards for the top finishers in various age categories, and the opportunity to enjoy a fun morning with family and friends. Be sure to wear your running shoes and come ready to make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s. Together, we can create a brighter future!

The Purple Crusaders are hosting the 5th Annual Longest Day Walk fundraiser and are excited to offer the END ALZHEIMERS 5K Pee Dee Grand Prix event on Saturday, June 21st at Arrowhead Park in Cheraw. Registration required for 5K Race participants. FREE to Walk! Donations accepted to Purple Crusaders with proceeds to support local initiatives to ENDALZ. The Purple Crusaders are a nonprofit 501c3 organization in the Cheraw/Chesterfield area. Our mission is to advocate for families dealing with Alzheimer's disease by raising funds and awareness for care, support, and research.
