Andy was a local to Detroit Lakes who loved the outdoors especially if he was fishing with his dad. Although he didnt consider himself a runner, Andy completed a 5K himself, exemplifying the ability to take on a challenge and complete a race. Ready to take on the challenge like Andy? Our 5K is open to all ages and levels, so dont sweat it if youre a new runner. Youll run (or walk) along Detroit Lake and the beautiful city to cross the finish line! Its an event you wont want to miss. As his dads infamous quote reminds us, When you cross that finish line, it will change your life forever!" -
