This exciting event kicks off at 7:30 AM with the Kids 1K, followed by the 5K run/walk starting at 8:00 AM. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy a fun day with family and friends, this event is perfect for all ages and fitness levels.
With registration fees of just $20 for the 5K and $10 for the Kids 1K, participants will receive chip timing to track their performance, courtesy of Pelican Timing Services. Celebrate your achievements at the short awards ceremony at 9:00 AM. Not only will you have a fantastic time, but you'll also be supporting a great cause! All proceeds will benefit Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a charity dedicated to providing beds for children in need. 11th Annual ExxonMobil Fun 5K Run/Walk and Kids 1K!
DATE: The Run/Walk will be September 28th starting at 7:30 am and is open to all ages!
LOCATION: Run will be held at Tyrrell Park in Beaumont.
This year we will have Kids 1K starting first at 7:30 am followed by the 5K run/walk 8:00 am. A short awards ceremony will be held at 9:00 am.
Registration:
$20 for 5k Run/Walk and $10 for Kids K
Chip Timing:
Both the 5k and Kids 1k will be chip timed. Timing services provided by Pelican Timing Services located in Lafayette, LA.
Overview:
Our goal is 450 participants, and hope we get more; all for the encouragement of living a more healthy lifestyle! ~~All Donations and Registration fees benefiting our selected charity Sleep in Heavenly Peace.
All children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads. In SETX, too many boys and girls go without a bedor even a pillowto sleep on. These children end up sleeping on couches, blankets, and even floors. This can affect their happiness and health.
Thats where Sleep in Heavenly Peace comes in. They are a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need.
