THIS IS AN ALL-WEATHER EVENT. REGISTRATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. IN CASE OF THUNDERSTORMS, THE RACE WILL BE DELAYED OR MADE VIRTUAL. PLEASE JOIN OUR FB PAGE FOR EVENT UPDATES. IN CASE OF A VIRTUAL RACE, MEDALS MUST BE PICKED UP OR SHIPPED AT RACER'S COST.

On December 31, 2010, thousands of red-winged blackbirds mysteriously fell from the skies of our small town. The bizarre event made national headlines and happened again in 2011 on a smaller scale. Although the event was unfortunate and uncontrollable, it was an occurrence that created quite the buzz in Beebe!

Please join the Beebe Chamber of Commerce for our 7th Annual Fallin' Blackbird 5k Fundraiser! The proceeds from this event are used to fund community events throughout the year as well as scholarships for Beebe students.
This fun and exciting 5k is our favorite way to kick off the entire Fallin' Blackbird Festival!! We encourage you to be creative with thematic race attire and fully enjoy the day! The Fallin' Blackbird 5k will be professionally timed by MacDonald Timing. Each participant that completes the race will receive a race t-shirt and medal! Additionally, we will have placement medals for several age categories. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE!

The 5k begins at 7:00 am on October 17, 2026. Please check our Facebook page for more details and information on early packet pickup. The race will start promptly at 7:00 on race day. If you are picking up your packet on race day or completing same-day registration, please arrive early to allow time before the race begins. -

We have added a virtual option for the Fallin Blackbird 5K for the ones who are not able to make the race in person. * Please note, times do not qualify for winning placements. Runners will still receive a medal and a shirt. Gurantee shirt size if signed up by 10/2027. Local pick up required for medal and shirt. *
