Join us for the 22nd Annual Family Fun Frolic on Saturday, June 29th, 2024, at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo in Cleveland, Cuyahoga! This exciting event kicks off at 8:30 a.m. and features a variety of race options, including a 5K race, a 1-mile fun run and walk, and a Kids 100 Meter Dash. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun day out with the family, there’s something for everyone!
This year’s Family Fun Frolic, previously known as the DadsDay Run, will not only be a fantastic in-person experience but also offers a virtual race option for those who can’t make it to the zoo. All proceeds will support Family Connections, an organization dedicated to providing early literacy services to children from birth to six years old throughout Cuyahoga County. Participants can look forward to a vibrant atmosphere with a new race T-shirt design, delicious food, drinks, entertainment, and awards for various age groups. This is our first year at the zoo, and we cant wait to see you there! However, we are also excited to share that Family Frolics can take place anywhere, and a virtual race option is available this year!
This year's Family Fun Frolic, formerly the DadsDay Run, raises funds for Family Connections. FC offers early literacy services to children from birth to six years of age across Cuyahoga County in our Family Playrooms and through our SPARK and Family School Connection programs.
