The Farmland 5K Run and Free for All Bike is Traverse City Track Club's running and biking event held on a dedicated cross country course on private farmland; this year on October 13th. A classic, European style turf grass course awaits you as you enjoy the natural challenge of running or biking! Traverse over grass, wooded dirt trails, and farmland running terrain.
A UNIQUE BIKE RACE CALLED THE "FREE FOR ALL"
The Farmland "Free For All" bike event has cyclists taking to the running course for 6 laps of fun competition (approximately 12 miles total), on any bike you choose. Fat bike, gravel bike, mountain bike, maybe even a unicycle; youll see it all. Awards for overall and age groups.
For the ambitious, well have a combined run/bike as well. Test your running legs in the 5k and your bike (or vice versa) and give the "Free For All" everything youve got left. Farmland Combos will be measured by their 5k time added to their bike time.
