Get ready for an exciting season of athletic fun at the Fast Feet Youngstown event, taking place every Sunday from April 27 to May 25, 2025, at the Boardman High School Stadium in Boardman Township, Mahoning. This five-week program is designed for kids in grades K-6, with participants aged 5 to 12 welcome to join in the fun. Each session runs from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, featuring two groups that rotate through thrilling track and field events, including the 100 meters, hurdles, long jump, 4x100 meter relay, throws, and a half-mile run.
Not only will young athletes enhance their running skills and sports knowledge, but they will also receive a T-shirt, water, and a fruit snack after each event. Plus, participants will be automatically registered for "The Mile," a special 1-Mile Run/Walk event happening on May 25. LEVEL 2! This group is designed to build on knowledge of running and track events from the previous year.
*Participants must be at least 9 years old and have participated last year.
WHERE: Boardman High School Stadium, 7777 Glenwood Ave, Boardman, OH 44512
WHO CAN JOIN: Kids Grade K - 6. *Must be 5 years old to participate.
WHAT: Get out, get active, and learn about Track and Field! Each week kids will be broken into groups based on their age and rotate through multiple events learning about each one: Events include: 100 meters, Hurdles, Long Jump, 4x100 Meter Relay, Throws, and 1/2 Mile Run.
