As a 36 year resident of Thibodaux I have always wanted to do this race but never participated. I was aware of it because it is held in my neighborhood and the shirts have always been distinctive. It is also well organized in a casual way and serves a good charitable cause. It attracted a number of runners from New Orleans and had a simple level mostly straight paved course. The post-race food and entertainment was excellent.
