The first 1,000 registered participants will receive a race t-shirt and a finisher medal, with awards for the top three male and female finishers in various age groups, from 10 & Under to 70 & Over. All proceeds from this event will support the Boca Raton Police Athletic League, Boca Raton Police Foundation, and Mission United, making your participation even more meaningful. July 4th, 2026, 7:15am 5K start time Florida Atlantic University (20th Street entrance-by Administration buildings east side of campus)
AccuChip Timing on measured 5K course, race t-shirt, finisher medals guaranteed to first 1,000 registered (we will post when capacity is reached).
Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age divisions are in five-year increments, beginning with 10 & Under and continuing through 70 & Over.
Youth participants who would like to receive an event T-shirt and finisher medal must register for the race. You should be able to complete the 5K course in 70 minutes or less.
Running through the palm tree lined campus of Florida Atlantic University the City of Boca Raton Firecracker 5K kicks off our annual Fabulous Fourth of July festivities.
All proceeds donated to: Boca Raton Police Athletic League, Boca Raton Police Foundation and Mission United (United Way of PBC).
