Over the past four years, the SouthWest Metro Chamber Foundation has proudly donated over $52,000 to support first responders, including the Carver, Chaska, Chanhassen, and Victoria Fire Departments, as well as the Chaska Police Department and Carver County Sheriff's Office.
Join us for this inaugural 5K race that combines fitness with a meaningful mission, all while celebrating Carver's biggest event of the year - Steamboat Days! Runners and families are invited to participate in the 5K and Kids Fun Run, with the first 30 kids to register receiving a special event T-shirt. After you cross the finish line, stick around for a fantastic day filled with festivities, including a Car Show, MN Marketplace, thrilling Kids Zone activities, live music, family entertainment, fireworks, delicious food options, and a festive beer tent. Over the past four years, the SouthWest Metro Chamber Foundation has donated more than $52,000 in support of local first responders, including the Carver, Chaska, Chanhassen, and Victoria Fire Departments, Chaska Police Department, Carver County Sheriffs Office, Ridgeview EMS, MN LEMA, and MFFMA.The Chamber Foundation is building on that impact by expanding support for first responder mental health resources, scholarships for students with first responder parents, and other initiatives that give back to those who serve local communities.
