FISHERS YMCA WISHBONE 5K / THE TRADITION CONTINUES
The Wishbone 5K Run/Walk is an annual Thanksgiving event for the entire community. This year were celebrating 15 years of families coming together for a morning of fitness and fun.
Leashed dogs and strollers are welcome along the route but, in the interest of safety, we ask that these participants start near the back of their corrals.
WHY PARTICIPATE?
The Wishbone 5K is the Fishers YMCAs signature event for the Annual Campaign, which helps to subsidize memberships, programs, summer camp and before/after school care. Since the race began in 2011, nearly $570,000 has been raised to ensure that no one is sent away from the YMCA due to the inability to pay. More than 13,300 participants have grown the Wishbone 5K into the premier Thanksgiving run in our community.
HOW YOUR SUPPORT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Your participation in this annual Fishers tradition allows us to grow the reach of the Fishers YMCA Annual Campaign [https://indymca.org/donate/fishers/]. OPENS APR 25REGISTRATION The cutoff for receiving a shirt at Packet Pickup before Thanksgiving is Thursday, October 31, 2025. Those registering after October 31st can pick up their shirts at the Fishers YMCA after December 15th. PACKET PICKUP Wednesday, November 27th, Noon - 8PM, Fishers YMCA Thursday (Race Morning), 6:30AM - 7AM RACE INFO Participants may run or walk along the course and strollers are allowed. Please use caution when lining up to begin the race. Those with strollers will be escorted to the end of the line up area. Start Time: 8AM STUFF YOU GET Participants receive a cool medal and long sleeve shirt! Register by October 31st in order to receive a shirt at packet pick up. Those registering after October 31st may pick up their shirts at the Fishers YMCA beginning December 15. VOLUNTEER There's no better way to give thanks than to give back.
