The Military Children Fit 2 Run is more than just a race; its a tribute to the incredible young heroes who navigate the unique challenges of military life with an unwavering spirit. It is open to the public.

Participation Options:

International Participants: Run virtually anywhere in the world and log your individual or team times.

National Participants: Choose to run virtually or join us in person for the grand finale.
Witness the Passing of the Guardians Torch:

As we transition from the Month of the 2024 Military Child World Expo to 2025 Military Children World Expo, witness the symbolic passing of the Guardians Torch, representing the enduring spirit and legacy of military children around the world. Representatives will carry the Torch from various military families, veterans, civic leaders, individuals, military installations, DoDEA Schools, purple star schools, communities, and businesses, symbolizing the unity and strength that binds us all.

The Guardians Torch Ceremony Details:

Torch Relay: The ceremony will begin with a Torch relay, where selected representatives from military families will carry the torch through significant locations, both virtually and in person. Each leg of the relay will highlight the diverse backgrounds and experiences of military children.

Virtual Participation: International participants can join the relay by sharing videos and photos of their own symbolic torch runs, creating a global tapestry of support and solidarity.

Grand Finale: The final leg of the relay will culminate at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City in Arlington, Virginia. Here, the torch will be handed over to a distinguished military child, who will light the ceremonial flame, marking the official start of the 2025 World Expo.

Event Highlights:

Virtual and In-Person Runs: Whether youre running in your hometown or joining us at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, your participation helps shine a light on the readiness resilience of military children worldwide.

Team and Individual Challenges: Form a team with friends, family, or colleagues, or take on the challenge solo. Track your progress and see how you stack up against participants worldwide.

Inclusive Participation: Teams can represent their military bases worldwide, child-serving organizations, veteran organizations, supporters of military children, public schools, DoDEA schools, and alike. Participants can run, walk, or push, ensuring that everyone, including persons with disabilities, can join the celebration.
Run in Memory Of: Runners can choose to participate in memory of a loved one, adding a personal and heartfelt touch to their journey.

Relay Teams: For those who cannot run the entire 3K, form a team relay to participate. This allows everyone to contribute and participate in the event, regardless of their physical capabilities.

Live Updates and Leaderboards: Stay connected with live updates and leaderboards, showcasing the top performers and inspiring stories from around the globe.

Virtual Meet-Ups and Q&A Sessions: Engage with fellow participants through virtual meet-ups and Q&A sessions with military leaders, providing a platform for connection and learning.

Live Streaming: Witness live streaming of key parts of the event, including the 2024 World Expo participants passing the torch to the 2025 participants.
