This exciting event features a timed 5K race starting at 8 A.M., where participants will be joyfully showered with safe, food-based color powder at various points along the course. For those looking for a more leisurely experience, an untimed fun run/walk will kick off at 9:15 A.M., ensuring everyone can join in the colorful fun!
In addition to the exhilarating races, participants can look forward to a festive atmosphere complete with games, face painting, a bubble station, and local food trucks serving delicious treats. Each registrant will receive a special event t-shirt that will turn into a tie-dyed masterpiece by the end of the day! The PACU Foundation is dedicated to advancing charitable giving, focusing on financial literacy, education, and emergency assistance for those in need throughout the Triad and Charlotte communities. ARE YOU READY TO GET COLORFUL FOR A GREAT CAUSE? THE PACU FOUNDATIONS FLYING COLORS CHARITY 5K AND FUN RUN IS A DYNAMIC, COMMUNITY-FOCUSED EVENT THAT CENTERS AROUND A TIMED 5K (8 A.M. START) IN WHICH PARTICIPANTS ARE DOUSED WITH SAFE, FOOD-BASED COLOR POWDER AT VARIOUS POINTS THROUGHOUT THE COURSE. THERE WILL BE A SECOND, UNTIMED FUN RUN/WALK (9:15 A.M.) START FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR A MORE CASUAL, BUT EQUALLY FUN, OPTION THAT WILL ALSO FEATURE COLOR POWDER.
PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE AN EVENT T-SHIRT THAT WILL APPEAR TIE-DYED AND RAINBOW-TASTIC BY THE END OF EITHER OPTION SELECTED (TIMED 5K OR UNTIMED FUN RUN/WALK)!* PACKETS FOR PARTICIPANTS REGISTERED BY 6/1/26 WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICKUP AT PIEDMONT ADVANTAGE CREDIT UNION IN THE LOBBY (WINSTON SALEM LOCATION - 3530 ADVANTAGE WAY, WINSTON-SALEM, NC 27103) ON TBD FROM 11 AM - 5:30 PM. INDIVIDUALS REGISTERED AFTER 6/1/26 AND THOSE NOT ABLE TO PICKUP PACKETS ON TBD MAY COLLECT THEM ON THE DAY OF THE RUN AT THE REGISTRATION TABLE BETWEEN 7 AM - 7:40 AM (THE 5K WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 8 AM.)
