Join us for the inspiring FoDU 5K for Hope on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, in Cabool, Texas! This uplifting event invites participants of all ages to run or walk a scenic 5K course, starting at 8:00 AM. Registration opens at 6:30 AM at the Cabool Second Baptist Church, conveniently located just up the hill from Shelter's Grocery.
Not only will you be participating in a fun and family-friendly race—where strollers and dogs are welcome—but you'll also be supporting a noble cause aimed at empowering children in Uganda. Enjoy water and snacks at the finish line, and don't miss out on the fantastic Ugandan marketplace featuring handmade items and a silent auction. Awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers, including youth categories. Registration, check-in, and packet pickup opens at 6:30amIf you have already registered, head to the CHECK-IN area to receive your swag bag and bib #
If you have not yet registered, look for the REGISTER NOW area to register
5K Walk/Run Start time: 8:00 am
There is ample free parking at the race site.
This race is family friendly and strollers and dogs are welcome.
Water will be provided at one water stop along the course as well as the finish line. Water and snacks available at finish.
Awards will be presented to 1st and 2nd fastest male, fastest female, and 1st and 2nd fastest male youth and female youth (under 16).
Results will be available following the race.
Course map will be included in swag bags.
Additional donation will gladly be accepted at the event.
BONUS... there will be an awesome Ugandan marketplace with handmade items straight from Uganda along with a silent auction! Bring money! Cash, Venmo and credit cards accepted.
