Get ready for a fantastic day of fun and fitness at the 2nd annual Foot Pursuit 5K and Fun Run on Saturday, May 3, 2025, in the beautiful city of Dahlonega, Lumpkin County! This exciting event, starting at 8:00 AM, will kick off at the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office, where participants will gather for a morning filled with community spirit and competition. Runners can choose to participate in the 5K race or join the Fun Run, making it a perfect event for families and individuals of all ages.
Proceeds from the Foot Pursuit will benefit the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office Youth Programs, allowing participants to contribute to a great cause while enjoying a healthy and active day. All pre-registered participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt, and there will be awards for the top finishers in various age divisions as well as overall male and female winners. Join us for a day of camaraderie, community engagement, and a whole lot of running fun in Dahlonega!

Organiser's Description
Join the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office as we partner with a local non-profit, Team Give Back to host our 2nd annual Foot Pursuit 5K. Proceeds from this event will go toward Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office Youth Programs.
DATE: Saturday May 3, 2025
TIME: 8:00am 5K and Fun Run will begin after 5K
LOCATION: Start and Finish will be held at the Sheriff's Office (385 East Main Street, Dahlonega, GA 30533)
PARKING: Court House Hill and Greenbriar Shopping Center (Harbor Freight Parking)
SHIRTS: Shirts will be provided for all PRE-REGISTERED participants registered before SUNDAY APRIL 21, 2024
AWARDS: Awards will be given to the OVERALL male and female and the top three male/ female in each age division
DIVISIONS: Overall Male, Overall Female, 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over
PACKET PICKUP: RACE DAY AT 7:00am to 8:00am (385 East Main Street, Dahlonega
