Join us for the thrilling For The Wild 5K/10K+ event on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, in beautiful Rhinelander, Wisconsin! This exciting race not only promotes fitness but also supports our local wildlife, with all proceeds benefiting Wild Instincts, Inc., a dedicated wildlife rehabilitation center serving the state.
Participants can choose between a 5K and a unique 10K+ course, which is actually 10.9 kilometers (6.8 miles) long! The event kicks off at the scenic Newbold Recreation Area, where registration and check-in will be held from 8:00 to 8:45 AM. The 10K+ race starts at 9:00 AM, followed closely by the 5K at 9:05 AM. Everyone is welcome to join, whether you're a runner, walker, or biker, and strollers are encouraged (though please leave your furry friends at home). With fantastic prizes for the top finishers and a fun drawing for those sporting nature-themed shirts, this is an event you won't want to miss! Let's come together to celebrate and support wildlife in our community!
