Organiser's Description
5K Run/walk with a 1 mile Walk, dog friendly. Event will be held at the Forgotten Warrior Memorial located at Channahon State Park. Located at25302 W Story St, Channahon, IL 60410. Carpooling is suggested.
Route will start at Channahon State Park, heading south along the scenic and picturesque I&M canal. We will have various veterans resources, vendors/sponsors. We will also have a 50/50 drawing, raffle baskets, tickets for raffle baskets are included with your registration with option to purchase additional tickets at the event. Your shirt will have a spot for you to write in the name of who you're running in Honor of. Honoring our veterans both past and present who are battling PTSD and continuing to raise awareness and support.
The First 200 participants to register by March 9th are Guaranteed a t-shirt and finisher medal.
Awards will be overall and age category recognition pins.
