The non-competitive walk will start at 8:30 a.m., followed by the timed run at 9 a.m. The scenic route takes you from Prentis Park, along beautiful bike paths, and back to the park for a strong finish. Don't miss the chance to celebrate with awards for top finishers in each age group and for the best-dressed participants! An awards ceremony will take place at the main stage before the main festivities of the Fourth of July kick off. Kick off Vermillion's Fourth of July Celebration with a fun 5K run or walk! Participants are encouraged to wear their most patriotic gear costumes encouraged.
Registration and packet pickup begins at 7:30 a.m. Your registration will include a t-shirt, giveaways, and post-race fuel.
Walk starts: 8:30 a.m.
Run starts: 9 a.m.
Awards will be given to top finishers in each age group and best dressed! We'll have an awards ceremony at the main stage (Shakespeare grotto) before the Fourth of July event officially starts.
The walk will be a non-competitive event.
ROUTE: The race begins and ends in Prentis Park near the North Shelter. Run on West Clark to Carr Street, then run the bike paths along Cherry Street to Pine. Finish strong to Prentis Park!
