Freedom Run 5K Dorr

 
⭐️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION: REGISTER BY THURSDAY 6/8/23 TO BE GUARANTEED A T-SHIRT. Some select sizes available, at packet pickup. 
Begin your morning witnessing the local American Legion Veterans raise our American flag, accompanied by the sound of taps, the 21 Gun Salute as well as our National Anthem 8 am
At 8:15, its go time....5, 4, 3, 2, 1, RUN! Or walk.
All are welcome to this family friendly event.
Our flat route will leave from Dorrs North Park, passing around town and weaving through neighborhoods before returning back to the park. There will be a water station at the 1.5 mile mark. 
When you cross your finish line and receive your medal make your way to the concession stand for a cold treat and water. 
Festive attire is welcome. Lets wave that red, white and blue.
First place all over, male and female will receive an award as well as top finisher in each category.
Age Categories for each Male and Female:
14 - under15 - 1920 - 2930 - 3940 - 4950 - 5960 - 6970
Proceeds will be gifted to the West Michigan Veteran Assistance Program. Race starts after the opening ceremonies. 8:15am
Packet Pick: Friday, June 30 3:30pm - 6:30pm also, morning of race 7am - 8am am which includes T-shirt bib.   
Consider bringing your old shoes for donation. In The Image, a Grand Rapids organization, is collecting for those less fortunate.
