Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual walker, there's something for everyone with a 5k run/walk starting at 8:00 AM and a family-friendly 1-mile walk at 8:30 AM.
The morning promises to be filled with fun, connection, and an opportunity to appreciate the beautiful trails of Resler Canyon. This event aims to educate our community about the importance of land preservation while inviting nature lovers to join in on more adventures throughout the year. The gates open at 7:15 AM, so arrive early to soak in the atmosphere! Don't forget to register by November 14th to secure your commemorative shirt and pick up your race packet on December 6th or the morning of the event. We're excited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the WAKEEM/TESCHNER NATURE PRESERVE OF RESLER CANYON, a veloved 91- acre protected space owned outright by The Frontera Land Alliance.
To mark this milestone, we're hosting a Trail Race and Family walk to bring together runners, walkers, families, and nature lovers for a morning of fun, and connection to the land.
The goal of this event is to EDUCATE OUR COMMUNITY about the importance of preserving the land. Also to SHOW THEM THE BEAUTIFUL TRAILS and invite them to join us on other adventures we, The Frontera Land Alliance host through out the year.
