Join us for the Frontera Land Alliance 20th Anniversary Trail Race on Sunday, December 7th, 2025, in the beautiful Resler Canyon, El Paso! This exciting event celebrates two decades of preserving the stunning 91-acre WAKEEM/TESCHNER NATURE PRESERVE while promoting community engagement and appreciation for our natural spaces. The day kicks off at 7:30 AM, with the 5K run/walk starting at 8:30 AM, followed by a fun 1-mile family walk at 9:00 AM. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or looking for a family-friendly outing, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Participants can pick up their race packets on Saturday, December 6th, from 10:30 AM to 1 PM at the Frontera Land Alliance Office, or on race day from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM. Don't forget to register by November 14th if you’d like an event shirt! Join us in this joyous celebration of nature, community, and the beautiful trails that make El Paso so special. We're excited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the WAKEEM/TESCHNER NATURE PRESERVE OF RESLER CANYON, a veloved 91- acre protected space owned outright by The Frontera Land Alliance.
To mark this milestone, we're hosting a Trail Race and Family walk to bring together runners, walkers, families, and nature lovers for a morning of fun, and connection to the land.
The goal of this event is to EDUCATE OUR COMMUNITY about the importance of preserving the land. Also to SHOW THEM THE BEAUTIFUL TRAILS and invite them to join us on other adventures we, The Frontera Land Alliance host through out the year.
