The Frosty Feet Half Marathon is a point-to-point race in Fairbanks, Alaska. We hope to make it the largest half-marathon in Interior Alaska!

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Start at The Plant Kingdom on FIDELER ROAD. Continue down FIDELER ROAD; the road will turn into dirt and become ECHO ACRES DRIVE. Youll continue on this, taking a right at CESSNA WAY after the 1-mile mark. Next, take a right onto CAVU WAY, then loop right onto AIR PARK DRIVE. From here, youll loop left back onto ECHO ACRES DRIVE and make your way back past The Plant Kingdom and turn left onto the bike/pedestrian path along FARMERS LOOP ROAD. At this point, you will have done a little more than three miles. Continue on the bike/pedestrian path along FARMERS LOOP ROAD. The path crosses to the other side of FARMERS LOOP ROAD near SKI BOOT HILL ROAD.

Turn right onto NORTH TANANA DRIVE to head up the hill and onto the UAF campus. Next, take the first left onto TANANA LOOP. You are basically doing the perimeter of the east side of campus. Stay on TANANA LOOP until it dead-ends at SOUTH CHANDALAR DRIVE, where youll take a left, then a right to continue onto TANANA LOOP. Next, take a quick left onto the path that will lead you toward West Valley High School (past the UAF Community Garden). Take a left on SANDVIK STREET in front of WVHS, and follow SANDVIK STREET to the volunteers at the pedestrian crossing light/crosswalk at UNIVERSITY AVENUE. Carefully cross UNIVERSITY AVENUE, and head right toward the JOHANSEN EXPRESSWAY. Turn left onto the bike path just before you reach the intersection of Johansen and University. Follow the bike path all the way to PEGER ROAD.

(NEW FINISH) At PEGER ROAD, turn right to cross under the JOHANSEN EXPRESSWAY BRIDGE. Return to the bike path heading towards PHILLIPS FIELD ROAD. Cross PHILLIPS FIELD ROAD and stay on the bike path until you cross the CHENA RIVER BRIDGE. Turn right onto the bike path that goes under the bridge. Follow the bike path towards ALASKALAND. Turn into the park at ALASKALAND LANE on the left side of CANOE ALASKA. The finish line is near the pavilion across from the Pioneer Playground and Moose Creek Picnic Shelter.
