For the ambitious athletes, the Delta Double offers the thrilling opportunity to race both the Sprint and Olympic distances in one day! With no cut-off times, this event is designed to be inclusive for all, including paratriathletes and relay teams of 2 or 3. Whether you're a seasoned triathlete or a newcomer, the Delta Lake Triathlon promises a day filled with fun, community spirit, and an unforgettable experience in a stunning natural setting!
Organiser's Description
SPRINT & OLYMPIC TRIATHLON AND AQUABIKE
FEELING REALLY AMBITIOUS? DO THE DELTA DOUBLE! RACE THE SPRINT AND GET BACK TO THE STARTING LINE IN TIME TO RACE THE OLYMPIC.
Start with a 750m swim followed by a moderate hilly 11 mile bike ride outside of the Park followed by a 5K run all within the grounds of the State Park with a finish right next to the lake. THE OLYMPIC PARTICIPANTS WILL COMPLETE 2 LOOPS OF EACH COURSE.
Paratriathletes are welcome! Relay Teams of 2 or 3 welcome for the Sprint and Olympic triathlon events only.
Participants in the AQUABIKE competition will complete their event after the bike.
NO CUT-OFF TIMES FOR ANY OF OUR EVENTS!
