Participants can choose from three exciting race distances: the unique 12K course that winds through the stunning oak savannah, marshes, and wetlands, beginning at 9:00 AM, the scenic 5K route through the charming neighborhood streets starting at 9:15 AM, or a more relaxed 1-mile untimed walk/run kicking off at 8:30 AM.
Runners and walkers alike will enjoy the camaraderie and community spirit that this event fosters, with awards for overall and age group performances in both the 5K and 12K races. Packet pickup is available on race day from 7 AM to 9 AM and the day before for early birds. Welcome to the annual Frosty Rock Challenge. This annual race is now put on by the Fort Atkinson Rotary Club
PACKET PICKUP
On Race Day, packets can be picked up from 7a-9a.
On Friday, packets can be picked up from 2p-6p at Fort HealthCare Business Health Department (210 Milwaukee Ave West, Fort Atkinson, WI 53538)
12K: The only race of its kind! Take on the challenge as you amble your way through the oak savannah, past the marshes and wetlands, and over the prairie on this 12K mixed course. The race starts at the Fort Atkinson High School, goes through Dorothy Carnes County Park and returns to the high school. THIS RACE BEGINS AT 9:00AM. 12K COURSE [https://www.forthealthcare.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/Park-West-1.pdf]
5K: The route will explore the neighborhood streets of Fort Atkinson, starting and ending at the high school. THIS RACE BEGINS AT 9:15AM. 5K COURSE [https://www.forthealthcare.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/FortAtkinson.png]
1 MILE: A 1-mile untimed walk/run will also be offered for those who do not want to do the full 5k. THIS RACE BEGINS AT 8:30AM.
