Get ready for a spooktacular evening at the Full Moon 5k Costume Run on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, in Laramie, Albany! This family-friendly event invites you to walk, bike, scoot, crawl, or run along the picturesque Laramie River Greenbelt as the sun sets and the moon rises. Participants are encouraged to don their most creative costumes for a chance to win prizes in the Costume Contest, and glowsticks will be provided to light up the night! The 5k race kicks off at 5:30 PM, with check-in and same-day registration starting at 5:00 PM. Not only will you enjoy a fun-filled race, but you'll also receive free professional photos capturing your festive spirit and Halloween-themed medals for the kids. Prizes will be awarded to the top overall male and female runners, as well as the top runners aged 16 and under. Join us in supporting the Be the Change Scholarship and the Laramie Valley Jackalopes while creating unforgettable memories in this vibrant community event!

This is a family-friendly costume 5k event along the Laramie River Greenbelt, finishing as the sun sets and the daylight begins to fade. Glowsticks will be available for all participants.
You will also get free professional pictures of you in your costume! Kids will also get Halloween-themed medals.
