Get ready for a fantastic day of fun and fitness at the Fun in the Sun Kids Triathlon on Sunday, June 28, 2026, in Kettering, Montgomery! This exciting event invites young athletes to dive into an action-packed triathlon featuring swimming, biking, and running tailored to their age group. The triathlon kicks off at 8:00 AM, starting with the littlest participants aged 5-6, who will tackle a 50-meter swim, a 2k bike ride, and finish with a 0.5k run. Older kids aged 7-10 will compete in a 100-meter swim, 4k bike ride, and 1k run, while those aged 11-14 will take on a 200-meter swim, 8k bike ride, and a 2k run.
Participants can pick up their race packets at Up and Running on June 27th from 2-4 PM, with race day registration starting as early as 6:30 AM. What: Kids Triathlon swim, bike, and run, in that order
Packet Pickup: Up and Running 6123 Far Hills on June 27th, 2-4pm.
Times: The event will start in heats based on age. 5-6 years of age will start first at 8am but all participants should be at the event and ready to go by 8:00am.
Race day registration will be available beginning at 6:30am.
Triathlon and Distances: (1k = .6 mile)
Ages 5-6: 50-meter swim, 2k bike and .5k run
Ages 7-10: 100-meter swim, 4k bike and 1k run
Ages 11-14: 200-meter swim, 8k bike and 2k run
Entry Fee: $20 includes t-shirt, finishers medal, goggles and a chance to win great door prizes. Price increases to $25 after June 22. Race day registration is $30. Any additional siblings receive $5 off.
There are no refunds and there is no rain date.
