Make sure to register early to secure your spot and streamline the race day experience. Assemble on the football field by 10:30 a.m. to join in the fun, and celebrate the top three schools with the most participants at 11:15 a.m. Bring your energy and enthusiasm for a memorable day filled with camaraderie and healthy competition!

Organiser's Description
Free race for children 8th grade and younger as part of the annual SPRING RUN OFF [https://runsignup.com/Race/CO/Pueblo/SpringRunoff]. In past years we've had over 450 kids in these races so please get pre-registered early so all you have to do is pick up a bib race morning. We do have same day registration from 8:30 to 10:30 am. So sign up and pick up a bib no later than 10:30 a.m.
ASSEMBLE ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD AREAS LISTED BY 10:30 A.M.
10:45 a.m.: 50-yard dash for kids Kindergarten and younger (starts on 50 yard line and goes to west end zone)
10:50 a.m.: 1.2-mile run for kids in grades 4-8 (gather at BLUE balloons in end zone)
10:55 a.m.: 1.2-mile run for kids in grades 3 and younger (gather at RED balloons in the end zone)
11:15 am: Kids gather on the field by school for recognizing the top 3 schools with the most kids!
The 1.2 mile run leaves the stadium, down the dirt road to the river trail, goes left (upriver) along the dirt trail, turns around by Wild Horse Creek bridge and returns on the concrete trail to the dirt road, onto and around the stadium track to finish at the regular finish line in front of the stands. Parents can get a good view of the kids outside the stadium on the hill overlooking the trail below.
* A parent or teacher can run with a group of young kids in the 2nd wave but need to sign up (doesn't count towards school competition). Please let all the fast and furious kiddos go ahead, stay to the back of the group start until the group spreads out.
