This vibrant event takes place in Keene, Cheshire, starting and finishing at the Pavilion area at Wheelock Park. Participants can join the scenic 5K route that winds through the beautiful Appel Way and historic Jonathan Daniels trails, with the race kicking off at 10 AM.
But the excitement doesn't stop there! Before the 5K, there will be a delightful 1-mile kids fun run starting at 9:30 AM, ensuring that everyone in the family can get involved. In addition to the races, attendees can enjoy a variety of pre- and post-race festivities including live music from talented student musicians, circus performances, face painting, and the chance to craft your own hula hoop. Don’t miss the school store pop-up and bake sale offering delicious treats, all supporting Gathering Waters Charter Schools' movement and athletics programs. Join us for a day filled with community spirit and healthy fun – carpooling is encouraged due to limited parking!

Were thrilled to host this exciting fundraising event to support Gathering Waters Charter Schools movement & athletics programs. Come run, walk, or cheer as we race through the up and back Appel Way and historic Jonathan Daniels trails, starting and finishing at the Pavilion area at Wheelock Park in Keene, NH. The 5k race will start at 10am. We will also offer a 1 mile kids fun run starting before the 5k race at 9:30am. Carpooling is highly encouraged due to limited parking!

Kids Fun Run Start: 9:30 AM (NO BIBS)
5K Race Start: 10:00 AM (WITH BIBS)

COURSE INFO:
A scenic 5K out-and-back trail course starting at the Pavilion area at Wheelock Park in Keene, this route follows the Appel Way Trail & Jonathan Daniels Trail with a turnaround at Ashuelot Park. The terrain is mostly packed dirt with some occasional gravel/paved sections.

CLOSEDThis kids fun run will be 1 mile (half a mile up and back) on the trail starting at Wheelock Park, for those looking for a fun but do-able challenge! We will have volunteers running with the group and stationed at the turnaround point so they everyone feels comfortable about where they are going, although parents/guardians are encouraged to assist their little ones if they need extra support!
