Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the 43rd Annual Geneva Rotary 5K Run for the Grapes on Sunday, September 29, 2024! Set against the charming backdrop of historic downtown Geneva, Ashtabula, this exciting race celebrates a century of service by the Geneva Rotary Club. Kicking off at 9:00 AM, participants will embark on a scenic 5K (3.1 miles) course that winds through the heart of the community. Registration opens at 7:30 AM for those who haven't pre-registered, ensuring everyone has a chance to join in the fun!
This year’s event holds a special tribute to Jim Santiago, a dedicated Rotary member and race organizer. Not only is it a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, but it also supports local community programs. Runners can look forward to complimentary water, fruits, and snacks along the route, making it the perfect day for both competition and camaraderie. Please note that due to construction on Rt20, the race will now start and finish at Geneva Middle School, located at 839 Sherman St. Join us for a day filled with community spirit, fitness, and fun!

This year, the Geneva Rotary Club celebrates 100 years of service to the Geneva community. Join us for the 43rd Annual Run for the Grapes 5K Race through historic downtown Geneva, Ohio. This years run will be in memory of Jim Santiago, long time Rotary member and organizer of the race. Proceeds benefit Geneva Rotary community programs.
LOCATION: NOTICE: Due to construction on Rt20, the race will now start and finish at the Geneva Middle School, 839 Sherman St.
TIME: Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. for those not pre-registered. Race begins at 9 a.m. 5K (3.1 miles) through the streets of Geneva. Clearly marked course with traffic control/protection. Complimentary water, fruits and snacks will be provided.
WARNING: THE 5K COURSE HAS A RAILROAD CROSSING. RAIL TRAFFIC HAS THE RIGHT-A-WAY AND THERE IS NO SET SCHEDULE. YOUR OFFICIAL TIME DOES NOT STOP DUE TO DELAY IN YOUR RACE.
