Proceeds from our annual 5K Legacy Run benefit the George Angulo Scholarship Fund. George Angulo was a longtime volunteer with Springfield/South County Youth Club, serving as Coach, Deputy Commissioner, and on the SYC Board of Directors. George passed away suddenly in July of 2016. George was a valued friend and an important member of our club. Georges legacy will remain visible through the recently created George Angulo Scholarship Award. This event will begin approximately 8:30 AM. Check-in begins at 8:00 AM. Please arrive no later than 8:00 AM so you have time to park, pick up the race bibs, and get to the start line.

NOTE: All 5K Runners will receive a chipped bib. All 1K Runners will receive a non-chipped bib.

Prize for top male and top female for 18 and older.*
Prize for top 3 runners in 12 - 17 year old age group.*

1K RUN

1K Fun Run event for runners for all ages.
One parent FREE with paid child runner for the 1K Fun Run
We will have snacks (bars/chips) and water bottles at the race, but recommend bringing your own as well.
