This thrilling event features both a 10K and a 5K race, both set against the scenic backdrop of the 8 Mile Creek Trail. The 10K kicks off at 8 AM from 1812 in Downtown Paragould, while the 5K begins at Rotary Park, also at 8 AM, and finishes back in downtown. Don't forget the Fastest Kid in Town Race, starting at 9:30 AM, where young athletes aged 4 to 14 can showcase their speed near the festival grounds. Participants who register before May 1st will receive a FREE Loose Caboose Festival T-Shirt, making this event even more special!

Returning in 2026 is the FASTEST KID IN TOWN RACE Sponsored by PMU with the Fastest Internet in Town.
All registrations before May 1st will receive a FREE Loose Caboose Festival T-Shirt!
10K: Race begins at 1812 in Downtown Paragould at 8am and returns to same point.
5K: Race begins at Rotary Park at 8am and ends at 1812 in Downtown Paragould. A shuttle will leave from the 5k finish line from 9am to 10am to take 5k Racers back to Rotary Park.
Fastest Kid In Town Race: Race begins at 9:30 am inside the festival grounds near Champions Gymnastics.
