The shift to a virtual format means you can join from anywhere, creating a more inclusive experience for everyone, including families and friends.
This year, our goal is to raise an incredible $2,000,000 to support the vital research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in the fight against ovarian cancer. With no costs for in-person events, we can direct even more funds toward this important cause. Since its inception in 2009, the Girlygirl P.A.R.T.S. initiative has raised over $1,500,000 for ovarian cancer research, and we need your help to continue this impactful journey. Let’s unite to honor the memories of those we’ve lost and stand strong for our mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends. Together, we can make a difference and raise awareness like never before!

2026 VIRTUAL GIRLYGIRL PARTS MONTH OF GIVING AND AWARENESS
We are excited to announce we will be making girlygirl PARTS 2026 a virtual event.
This will make the event even more welcoming and inclusive for ALL! As you gather with your families and friends we invite you to walk, run, bike, or hike what ever makes you happy. We will no longer have costs in running our event, that will save money allowing us to donate more to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
We hope this will encourage you to grab even more men, women and children to fight together to silence ovarian cancer by raising more awareness and money than any other year! No limitations of a day and time, now its up to you!
LET'S KEEP PUSHING TOWARDS $2,000,000!!
This research affects women around the world, not just New England!
We need to raise money so that Dr. Matulonis and her team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute can continue their lifesaving research.
Our GGP Family has always risen to the occasionwe know you will take this and run with it!!
GIRLYGIRL'S STORY:
girlygirl P.A.R.T.S. started simply as a discussion between two friends over a cup of coffee in March of 2009. Jill Di-Tommaso was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in February of 2008. She and her wonderful friend, Laura Smith, have been dedicated to raising awareness about this devastating disease.
Together they founded the girlygirl P.A.R.T.S. 5K Run/Walk for Ovarian Cancer to raise funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for the research of a pre-screening tool for ovarian cancer.
Jill passed away on December 27, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer. We need your help now more than ever!
Over the last 15 years, we are proud to say that we have donated over $1,500,000 to the Ovarian Research Fund directed by Dr. Ursula Matulonis at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Ursula Matulonis is the medical director of gynecologic oncology.
Grab everyone you know and fight for your mothers, sisters, aunts, daughters and nieces! The time is now!!
