Join us for the GIVE HOPE 5K - Strides to End Homelessness on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the picturesque Frank Liske Park in Concord, Cabarrus. This uplifting family-friendly event aims to raise funds and awareness for the homeless and food-insecure communities in our area, encouraging participants to make a difference one stride at a time! Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to take part in the 5K, with packet pickup starting at 8:15 AM and the race kicking off at 9:00 AM, rain or shine.

After the race, celebrate the achievements of all participants at the post-race awards ceremony, where medals will be presented to the top male and female finishers as well as the top three kids in the Fun Run. Enjoy light refreshments, exciting raffle giveaways, and opportunities for photos! Whether you're a seasoned runner or looking to support a great cause, the GIVE HOPE 5K promises a joyful day filled with community spirit, fun, and purpose. Organiser's Description

The GIVE HOPE 5K will take place at the beautiful Frank Liske Park in Concord, NC. This is a family-friendly event aimed at raising funds and awareness for the homeless and the hungry in our community one stride at a time! All proceeds will benefit the homeless and food insecure communities.

The 5K will occur rain or shine. Packet pick up will be from 8:15am-8:45am. Onsite registration will be available for cash, cashapp or venmo payments only. There will be light refreshments and water provided.

**After the 5K we will have medals presented to the Overall Male and Female performers 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. We will have prizes for the Top 3 Kids Fun Run winners. We will announce the raffle prize winners, photo opportunities and more!



SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Saturday, August 2nd: RACE DAY!

8:15am - Race Packet Pickup/Check-In, Sponsor Expo

8:45am- Pre-Race Welcome & Group Stretching

9:00am- Race begins

10:30am- Post Race Awards Ceremony, Raffle Giveaway, Sponsor Expo, Light Refreshments

NOTE: There are NO refunds for this race. Race organizers reserve the right to modify, change, cancel, or reschedule the race and are not accountable if it is deemed necessary for the safety and comfort of participants, volunteers, or staff.

Note: We can only guarantee t-shirts for participants who register by July 25th.
