Join us for the GIVE HOPE 5K - Strides to End Homelessness on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, at the picturesque Frank Liske Park in Concord, Cabarrus. This uplifting event is not only a chance to challenge yourself with a 5K run but also an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community. By participating, you'll help raise funds and awareness for the homeless and food-insecure individuals in our area, showing that every stride counts towards making a difference!
The day kicks off with race packet pickup from 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM, followed by a pre-race welcome and group stretching at 8:45 AM. The race itself begins at 9:00 AM, and whether rain or shine, the spirit of community will shine through. After the race, join us for a vibrant awards ceremony at 10:30 AM, where medals will be presented to the top male and female performers, as well as prizes for the top three winners in various age groups and kids’ fun run participants. Enjoy light refreshments, engage in the sponsor expo, and don't miss your chance to win exciting raffle prizes! Come together to give hope and make a positive change

Organiser's Description
The GIVE HOPE 5K will take place at the beautiful Frank Liske Park in Concord, NC. This is a family-friendly event aimed at raising funds and awareness for the homeless and the hungry in our community one stride at a time! All proceeds will benefit the homeless and food insecure communities.
The 5K will occur rain or shine. Packet pick up will be from 8:15am-8:45am. Onsite registration will be available for cash, cashapp or venmo payments only. There will be light refreshments and water provided.
**AFTER THE 5K we will have medals presented to the Overall Male and Female Top performers (1st place). Top Performers Male and Female (1st, 2nd & 3rd place) in age groups 14-19, 20-39, 40-59, 60+. We will have prizes for the Top 3 Kids Fun Run winners. We will announce the raffle prize winners, photo opportunities and more!
