The day kicks off with race packet pickup from 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM, followed by a pre-race welcome and group stretching session at 8:45 AM. The race begins at 9:00 AM, and regardless of the weather, the excitement will continue with a post-race awards ceremony at 10:30 AM, where medals will be awarded to top performers in various categories, including age groups and a special Kids Fun Run. Enjoy light refreshments, engage with vendors at the Sponsor Expo, and participate in exciting raffle giveaways! Organiser's Description
The GIVE HOPE 5K will take place at the beautiful Frank Liske Park in Concord, NC. This is a family-friendly event aimed at raising funds and awareness for the homeless and the hungry in our community one stride at a time! All proceeds will benefit the homeless and food insecure communities.
The 5K will occur rain or shine. Packet pick up will be from 8:15am-8:45am. Onsite registration will be available for cash, zelle, cashapp or venmo payments only. There will be light refreshments and water provided.
**AFTER THE 5K we will have medals presented to the Overall Male and Female Top performers (1st place). Top Performers Male and Female (1st, 2nd & 3rd place) in age groups 14-19, 20-39, 40-59, 60+. We will have prizes for the Top 3 Kids Fun Run winners. We will announce the raffle prize winners, photo opportunities and more!
