Go Red for Rachel Memorial Walk

Thank you for joining us for the 3rd Annual Go Red For Rachel Memorial Walk in honor of Rachel Jones. All proceeds from this event will support the American Heart Association's, Go Red For Women initiative to raise awareness about heart disease in women. It is the hope of Rachel's family and friends that this event will not only honor the life of Rachel but will also continue to spread the positive influence of Rachel's desire to lead and inspire girls and women across the world to chase after their dreams.
Date and time: Saturday, June 8th, 2024. The 2mile walk will start at 9am. T-shirt pick up will begin at 8:30 am.
Location: Lexington Community Park, Lexington, Ohio
Walk route is tbd.
Participants aged 13 and older require registration. Young kids are welcome to participate in walk with parents and do not need to be registered. Strollers are allowed. Dogs on leashes are allowed.
We are including a Virtual Challenge option! We welcome all to participate and share this event event if you do not live locally. Please register or donate to this event no matter where you live. If you are participating virtually you get to set your own race! Walk, run, hike, climb, swim, bike, etc. Complete this challenge in honor of Rachel! We ask that you take pictures and share them to our page on Facebook! You will also be prompted to submit results to RunSignUp, this is optional, however we would love it if you did! You have the entire month of June to complete your virtual challenge!
If you register for the in person walk or virtual challenge by April 15th you will be guaranteed the t-shirt of your size to be picked up the morning of the walk. If you are participating virtually from out of state, we will mail you your shirt in a timely fashion.
