Starting between 4:45 PM and 5:00 PM, the race will kick off with trail runners accompanied by their dogs, followed by those running without pets and hikers, ensuring a harmonious experience for all. As you navigate through diverse terrain, including hills, streams, and forested paths, don’t forget your headlamp to light the way! Registration includes a timed event, post-race food and beer, an event t-shirt, and access to aid stations. Plus, by participating, you'll be supporting the Machickanee Cross Country Ski Club, a dedicated group of volunteers committed to maintaining this beautiful area since 1978. Join

An unforgettable evening adventure through the beautiful Machickanee Hiking and Ski Trails. Whether youre a runner, hiker, or dog lover, theres a trail event for you all set beneath the golden light of sunset, fall colors and the glow of your headlamp.

Trail Events Include:
* Canicross Run or Hike 7K or 11K (Run/hike with your dog) - dogs must be leashed!
* Trail Run/Hike 7K or 11K
Order of start:
* Trail runners with dog
* Trail runners with out dog
* Hikers (with or without dog)
All events wind through the scenic Machickanee trails just as daylight fades, creating a one-of-a-kind trail experience. The trails lead through a series of forest types, streams and various terrain. Hills and curves of various slopes and lengths make this course a fun challenge! A headlamp is required!
Packet pick up will take place on Friday, October 10 from 3:30 - 5pm
