We can't wait to share this beautiful NC State Park with you! Get ready to add a new Eastern Carolina trail event to your fall calendar! These beginner friendly trails are highlighted with boardwalks and Spanish Moss. The slightly rolling terrain allows for PR's in every distance. This event will feature a 10K Hike, 10K Race, Half Marathon Race, and (in honor of the Park turning 50) a 50K Race! All races will be timed and all finishers who sign up in time will earn a sustainable wood medal.
The Start/Finish is at the back of the park near the river beach access.
Check in/cash only sign up(limited spots available) is as follows:
50k 8:00 am to 8:45 am (starts at 9:)
Hike, 10k, Half 8:15 am to 9:15 am (starts at 9:30)
Optional packet pickup at group camp parking lot Friday evening from 4p to 6p. (Near the back of the park)
